Dry stone walling, also known as drystack, is a centuries-old construction method where walls are built by stacking stones directly on top of one another. Unlike brick walls that rely on wet mortar for cohesion, dry stone walling doesn't use any mortar. Instead, these walls depend solely on gravity and the craftsmanship of a stonemason like William MacLean for support and stability.
